The course complies with the educational requirements for accreditation by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists.

This four-year occupational therapy (OT) program is part of the government's overall strategy for providing her people with comprehensive healthcare, including rehabilitation services.

The program is designed to contribute to the national plan by educating OT health professionals proficient in entry level clinical skills in physical dysfunction, mental illness, pediatrics and geriatrics.

All the courses are offered in Chinese.

  1. Areas of study in the first year include introduction to OT, basic sciences and liberal arts.
  2. In the second year, education in medical topics such as anatomy and physiology is offered.
  3. The third year involves major professional courses.
  4. Courses in the fourth year include Seminar on OT and clinical training.

The students must complete a minimum of 140 semester credits for eligibility for a bachelor of science degree in OT.
