近年來配合我國綠能產業推動,創能部分致力於離岸風電之推動、研究、專業授課、及專業人才培育,並邀請國外專家學者舉辦專題演講、能源論壇及離岸風電論壇、研討會等。並發展前瞻黑潮發電技術,進行縮尺原型設計分析開發及測試。開授離岸風電高階人才培育碩士級課程,以因應我國2025年大量專業人力之需求。 未來5年發展目標:
能源科技政策方面:運用科技協助提升國家能源安全,提供政府、企業界、及民間組織能源決策諮詢及建言。 能源技術方面:針對創能、儲能、節能、智慧電網等技術面,國際間技術尚未成熟之能源科技領域,建立我國具國際領先地位的技術與產業。對於國際間技術已開發成熟,且未來我國將大量導入之能源技術,例如:離岸風電、太陽能等,提高國內產業參與比例,協助我國產業於國際價值鏈尋找立足之定位。
人才培育方面 (1)推動離岸風電學程:配合我國2025年5.5GW之離岸風電建置以及產業迫切人才需求,整合相關系所,共同推動離岸風電學程,以培養高階離岸風電人才,協助推動我國離岸風電產業發展。 (2)深化本校能源教育:教材與課程發展及落實、在職培訓與產業專班、師資增能培訓,並與國際頂尖產學研機構建立國際合作與交流。 (3)宣導大眾科普教育:舉辦系列講座及營隊,培訓能源教育種子教師、出版科普教材及教具、設計展覽或競賽活動及宣導。

In terms of energy technology policy, we have used technology to help improve national energy security, and provide energy decision-making consultation and advice for the government, business circles, and non-governmental organizations. For energy technology, we have established internationally leading technology and industry for energy creation, energy storage, energy saving, smart grid and other technical aspects, the energy technology field whose international technology is not yet mature. For energy technologies that have been developed and matured internationally and will be imported in large quantities in the future, such as offshore wind power and solar energy, etc., increase the participation rate of domestic industries and help to find a foothold in the international value chain.
For talent cultivation, the orientation includes:(1) Promoting the offshore wind power study program: Coordinating with the country 5.5GW offshore wind power construction in 2025 and the urgent talent needs for the industry, integrate relevant institutions and jointly promote the offshore wind power study program to cultivate high-end offshore wind power talents to help promote the development of offshore wind power industry. (2) Deepen energy education in our school: development and implementation of teaching materials and courses, on-the-job training and industry special classes, teacher empowerment training, and establish international cooperation and exchanges with top international industry-university-research institutions. (3) Promoting popular science education: hold a series of lectures and camps, train seed teachers for energy education, publish popular science textbooks and teaching aids, design exhibitions or competitions and promote them.
