A briefing on Israeli startup resources and investment was held by NTU Industry Liaison Office (ILO) at the Taiwan X Isareal Center (TXI Center) on the afternoon of October 31, inviting Tslil Lahav, head of Israeli Economic and Trade Mission in Taipei, Revital Shpangental, representative of Haifa University, a number of Israeli economic and trade figures, Pai-Chi Li, R&D chief of National Taiwan University, David Peng, CEO of NTU ILO, and corporate members of NTU ILO. This event looked closely on Israel’s startup resources, education, and investment environment, providing professional insights on industrial complementarity between Taiwan and Israel. With questions from members of NTU ILO
Lahav and Li pointed out that combining Israel’s startup technology and Taiwan’s expertise in system integration, membership of NTU ILO would accelerate the development of Taiwan’s industry and create new business opportunities under waves of US-China trade war and global informatization.
