Position Announcement

Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor

 

The Institute of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (IEEB) at National Taiwan University (NTU) invites applications for a faculty position in ecology (macroecology, landscape ecology, applied ecology, animal ecology, etc.), geographic information science, and global change biology at the assistant professor or higher levels with an anticipated start date of Aug. 1, 2025.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: The applicant must hold a Ph.D. degree, and post-doctoral experience is preferred. The ability to collaborate with other scientists and strong oral and written communication skills are required.

RESPONSIBILITY: The successful candidate is expected to develop and maintain an active research program supported by extramural funding, mentor graduate and undergraduate students, participate in graduate and undergraduate teaching, and fulfill service responsibilities. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for co-teaching biology, ecology and related courses at the undergraduate level.
