DFLL Regulations on Ranking of Academic Publications

1. 定義：提經系、院、教評會三級三審通過之 優良期刊學術著作等級名錄（包含學術期刊論文分級；學術論文集、專書、專書論文分級；已出版之會議論文集文章分級）

Definition: DFLL Regulations on Ranking of Academic Publications, including ranking of 1) journal papers; 2) collections of academic essays, books, and book chapters; 3) published conference proceedings, which are approved by the Departmental, Collegiate and the University Teachers' Evaluation Committees.

2. 用途：本校教師「升等」或「教師評鑑」發表期刊參考名錄。

   Application: 

   a) For Promotion: It is required that those who plan to apply for promotion must publish their articles in A- or B-level journals according to the "DFLL Regulations on Ranking of Academic Publications."

   b) For Faculty Evaluation: A paper ranked as A-level in the "DFLL Index of Qualified Journals" or published in SSCI, AHCI, or TSSCI journals is regarded as an A-Level publication, with 20 points given for each additional paper. For more details and other categories of academic works, please see Publication Ranking Standards for DFLL Faculty Evaluation.

3. 如何增列外文系優良期刊名錄 (Application for extension of DFLL Index of Qualified Journals)：

   1. 本系同仁如擬增列外文系優良期刊名錄，須

       1) 繳交申請表，並就擬增列期刊提出詳細說明 （參考格式如下）。

       2) 提供期刊樣本，供教評會評閱。

    Those who would like to extend the DFLL Index must

    1) submit an application form that specifies detailed information on the journals they propose to be included (See a sample format of  the specifications as follows)  and

   2) provide a sample journal.  :

   2. 申請期限：至遲於每年9月系辦公告期限前提出申請， 由本系教評會統一時間辦理。

   Application deadline: An application must be submitted to Michelle before the deadline announced by the Department office around September each year and will be processed at the scheduled TEC meeting of the Department.
