A weekly course of Special Topics on Fisheries Science was designed to invite the prominent industrial representatives, governmental officials, or outstanding scholars to give lecture on the expertise and special experience. This two-hour course is open to all the students and faculty members.

　　The institute holds a cnatest and poster demonstration of the grauation thesis or dissertation in May annually. All the students and faculty members actively participate the paper presentations and the meetings in the annual convention of the Fisheries Society of Taiwan
