Double/Dual Degree Programs

Exchange Programs

Students who wish to study for a year or semester at NTU College of Social Sciences without having to pay the tuition fee to NTU have to make sure first that their home university is an exchange partner of NTU. You must be nominated by your home university before you can apply for an NTU exchange program.

Those who aim to study social science can make their choice from a wide range of subjects during application.

In addition to taking advantage of inter-university cooperation, NTU College of Social Sciences also builds up its own partnerships to provide more study abroad opportunities to its own students. Each year NTU College of Social Sciences also hosts a great number of exchange students from these leading universities in East Asia and Europe. Special and Short-term Programs

Joint Summer programs
The East Asian Junior Workshop was hosted by Department of Sociology of National Taiwan University, Kyoto University, and Seoul National University. The workshop will take place in turns in Taipei, Kyoto, and Seoul, depending on which country host the workshop. Faculty members and students from Taiwan, Japan and Korea jointly participated in the workshop for a three-days field trip, followed by a two days class discussions and presentations . All participants are required to take a course and wirte a research proposal one semester before the program.  The students of host country are responsible for planning the field trip in advance and prepare presentations to introduce the historical background and social context necessary to understand the sites visited. In the last two days, students will present their research topics and also share their observations about the field work.
