Announcements from the Editorial Office:

【No. 75】

  1. There were 31 submissions for No. 75, with an acceptance rate of 32%; 6 submissions from scholars serving at National Taiwan University, with 4 being published; and 25 submissions from scholars serving at other universities, with 6 being published.
  2. The journal was included in the 2010/2011 Taiwan Humanities Citation Index- Core (THCI-Core) after the evaluation of Center for Humanities Research, National Science Council.

【No. 73】

  1. There were 43 submissions for No. 73, with an acceptance rate of 14%; 5 submissions from scholars serving at National Taiwan University, with 0 being published; and 38 submissions from scholars serving at other universities, with 6 being published.

【No. 72】

  1. There were 36 submissions for No. 72, with an acceptance rate of 16.6%; 8 submissions from scholars serving at National Taiwan University, with 2 being published; and 28 submissions from scholars serving at other universities, with 4 being published.

【No. 71】

  1. In August 2009, the editorial office signed contracts with National Central Library to promote digitalization of academic journals in Taiwan. In a near future, articles published in NTU Humanitas Taiwanicacan be researched via the PerioPath Index to Taiwan Periodical Literature System. The Editing Committee also revised Item 10 of the Guidelines for Submissions (passed by the 89th Editing Committee Meeting). 
  2. The journal was included in the 2008 Taiwan Humanities Citation Index- Core (THCI-Core) after the evaluation of Center for Humanities Research, National Science Council.
  3. There were 39 submissions for No. 71, with an acceptance rate of 18%; 8 submissions from scholars serving at National Taiwan University, with 4 being published; and 31 submissions from scholars serving at other universities, with 3 being published.

【No. 70】60th Anniversary Issue

  1. In August 2009, the editorial office signed contracts with National Central Library to promote digitalization of academic journals in Taiwan. In a near future, articles published in Humanitas Taiwanicacan be found and researched through the platform of the PerioPath Index to Taiwan Periodical Literature System. The Editing Committee also revised Item 10 of the Guidelines for Submissions (passed by the 89th Editing Committee Meeting).

  3. There were 37 submissions for No. 70, with an acceptance rate of 27%; 7 submissions from scholars serving at National Taiwan University, with 1 being published; and 30 submissions from scholars serving at other universities, with 9 being published.

【No. 69】

  1. In 2008, the journal was evaluated as one of the top-level journals of History Discipline by National Science Council for its Third Taiwanese Academic Journal Evaluation.
  2. There were 43 submissions for No. 69, with an acceptance rate of 30%; 9 submissions from scholars serving at National Taiwan University, with 5 being published; and 34 submissions from scholars serving at other universities, with 8 being published.

【No. 68】

【No. 66】

  1. There were 48 submissions for No. 66, with an acceptance rate of 14%; 11 submissions from scholars serving at National Taiwan University, with 2 being published; and 37 submissions from scholars serving at other universities, with 4 being published.
  2. Chinese and English table of contents of No. 1 to No. 65 are included in this volume.

【No. 65】

  1. In 2005, the journal was evaluated the fourth of Chinese Discipline by National Science Council for its Third Taiwanese Academic Journal Evaluation.
  2. There were 48 submissions for No. 65, with an acceptance rate of 19%; 12 submissions from scholars serving at National Taiwan University, with 5 being published; and 36 submissions from scholars serving at other universities, with 3 being published.
  3. The acceptance rate of all submissions to NTU Humanitas Taiwanica is 21% in 2005.
  4. The editorial office posted its English Guidelines for Submissions from the issuance of No. 65.

【No. 64】

  1. In 2005, the journal was evaluated as number one of humanity and social science journals by National Taiwan University Publications Committee.
  2. The editorial office revised the 1, 4 and 5 items of the Guidelines for Submissions (passed by the 84th Editing Committee Meeting).
  3. There were 35 submissions for No. 64, with an acceptance rate of 23%; 11 submissions from scholars serving at National Taiwan University, with 6 being published; and 24 submissions from scholars serving at other universities, with 2 being published.

【No. 63】

There were totally 56 submissions in 2005, with an acceptance rate of 30%; 19 submissions from scholars serving at National Taiwan University, with 6 being published; and 37 submissions from scholars serving at other universities, with 11 being published.

【No. 58】

  1. From the issuance of No. 58, the journal simultaneously initiated its E-Journal. See below website: http://www-ms.cc.ntu.edu.tw/~bcla/
  2. The topic of next issue is “The Combination of Anthropology and Historical Research – With Special Focus on Taiwan Austronesian Research”. Besides disquisitions, the editorial office decided to save half of the spaces for other kinds of theses and welcomes submissions from all circles.

【No. 57】

  1. There were 19 submissions for No. 57, with an acceptance rate of 42%; 8 submissions from scholars serving at National Taiwan University, with 5 being published; and 11 submissions from scholars serving at other universities, with 3 being published.
  2. After the issuance of No. 57, acceptance rate of NTU Humanitas Taiwanica is to be counted yearly and announced on the November published volume.
  3. Chinese manuscripts should be from 5,000-30,000 characters in length (including footnotes). The length of book reviews and examination articles can be less than 500 characters.
  4. Authors of all manuscripts should provide citations for readers’ references.
