  1. In 2022, Humanitas Taiwanica published 7 submissions with a rejection rate of 86.27%. 44 submissions were rejected (by either internal or external review), and 5 submissions were returned.
  2. To reduce both the carbon footprint and production cost, Humanitas Taiwanica will reduce the quantity of the journal's print issues. Humanitas Taiwanica has been an open access journal for many years. It has been indexed in national and international well-known databases, including EBSCOhost, Airiti Library, HyRead ebook, United Digital Publications, etc. The digital format for each issue can also be publicly accessed, browsed, downloaded and printed in National Taiwan University Journal Database and Taiwan Open Access Journals (TOAJ).   1. In 2021, Humanitas Taiwanica published 13 submissions with a rejection rate of 61.76%. 21 submissions were rejected (including those reviewed by internal and external reviewers), and 11 submissions were returned.

  1. An editorial board member, Professor Li-chiang Lin (Graduate Institute of Art History, National Taiwan Normal University) resigned. On August 1, 2021, Research Fellow Min-hua Chiang (Institute of Linguistics, Academia Sinica) filled the vacancy.
  2. Professor Horng-jia Lin (Department of Chinese Literature, National Taiwan University) and Professor She-ru Kao (Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, National Taiwan University) have completed their terms of office for serving as executive editors in Chinese and English respectively. Professor Mei-hsiu Tsao (Department of Chinese Literature, National Taiwan University) and Professor Mou-lan Wong (Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, National Taiwan University) will take charge of the positions from August 1, 2021.

  1. The editorial committee bylaws were revised in the College of Humanities general affairs meeting on March 22, 2017. On April 12, the College issued memorandum #29, announcing the implementation of these revisions, and submitted the report of the 109th editorial committee meeting.

  1. In 2005, the journal was evaluated the fourth of Chinese Discipline by National Science Council for its Third Taiwanese Academic Journal Evaluation.
  2. There were 48 submissions for No. 65, with an acceptance rate of 19%; 12 submissions from scholars serving at National Taiwan University, with 5 being published; and 36 submissions from scholars serving at other universities, with 3 being published.
  3. The acceptance rate of all submissions to NTU Humanitas Taiwanica is 21% in 2005.

  1. In 2005, the journal was evaluated as number one of humanity and social science journals by National Taiwan University Publications Committee.

  2. The topic of next issue is “The Combination of Anthropology and Historical Research – With Special Focus on Taiwan Austronesian Research”. Besides disquisitions, the editorial office decided to save half of the spaces for other kinds of theses and welcomes submissions from all circles.

  1. There were 19 submissions for No. 57, with an acceptance rate of 42%; 8 submissions from scholars serving at National Taiwan University, with 5 being published; and 11 submissions from scholars serving at other universities, with 3 being published.
  2. After the issuance of No. 57, acceptance rate of Humanitas Taiwanica is to be counted yearly and announced on the November published volume.
  3. Chinese manuscripts should be from 5,000-30,000 characters in length (including footnotes). The length of book reviews and examination articles can be less than 500 characters.
  4. Authors of all manuscripts should provide citations for readers’ references.
