HISTORY AND MISSION-
The Office of Financial Affairs was founded on August 1, 2007, on which is one of the foremost ideas President Si-Chen Lee emphasizes in academic development. The main purposes of the establishment of the Office is for financial planning, analysis and operations. To maintain NTU's preeminent position as one of World's Top 100 Universities, the Office of Financial Affairs has been devoted to its mission all the way and integrating resources across boundary for academic prosperity.
The Office of Development was established on August 2019. The main objective of this office is to raise sufficient fund and resources to support NTU to be competitive while serves as a link between enterprises and NTU.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DIVISIONS-
The Office of Financial Affairs is responsible for financing, across the entire financial operation of NTU, from advancing teaching and academic research, through the construction and civil engineering on campus and the allocation of the NTU Endowment Fund. Investment professionals and consultants are introduced in the Office to deal with the above activities. These responsibilities are broadly broken down into three main categories, and specific responsibilities for each of these areas is allocated to three divisions, which are as follows:
1. Office of Development
- Propose and plan for fundraising events.
- Assist to the acceptance of bulk donations, and providing related services to our donors. Please also refer to our work reports.
- Engage in Major Donors and Major Gifts.
- Responsible for Donor cultivation and stewardship
2. Financial Management Division
is in charge of financial planning for teaching, academic researches and promotion, and also for the construction and civil engineering on campus. Auditing annual budget and the allocation of the Endowment Fund. Assessing the financial investments of every business unit of NTU. And evaluation of the revenue, payment and saving of the Endowment Fund.
VISION-
The Office of Financial Affairs will meet its objectives through effective administration, strong internal collaboration and provision of superior customer service to our clients. The Office has been devoting to the best allocation for the resources and facilities of the University to enlarge the Endowment Fund, as well as keeping up with times for investments. We expect to assist NTU in maintaining its prominent status amongst excellent universities in the world, and to strive for the advancing prosperity of the University.
