Our lab specializes in research on older adults, with current projects focusing on cognitive function, dementia, sarcopenia, and frailty in Taiwanese elders, supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology and international partners. Our team includes clinicians, graduate, and undergraduate students, and we collaborate extensively with clinicians from various specialties, including geriatrics, neurology, family medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology, psychiatry, gastroenterology, and cardiology. We also work with interdisciplinary experts in psychology, biostatistics, nutrition, metabolomics, and spatio-temporal environment studies. Recently, we have established several significant international collaborations (for details, please refer to the 'Projects' page).

The goals of our research lab is as below.

1. Identify clinical, genomic and environmental factors for predicting the risk of geriatric syndromes (e.g., dementia, cognitive impairment, frailty, and sarcopenia) at an early stage.
2. Focus on preventing these geriatric conditions through early intervention.
3. Emphasizing primary prevention to promote health and well-being in older adults.
