Founded in 1974, Historical Inquiry is a peer-reviewed professional journal with a broad coverage of all major fields in historical studies. The journal contains mainly research articles, as well as discussion articles on historiography, history education and book reviews. The editorial board welcomes manuscripts from around the world, especially original research that uses solid evidence to engage with issues of interest, whether traditional, currently under debate, or newly emerging.
