Freshman English or Foreign Languages

• Priority enrollment is granted to first-year students.
• Students are not restricted to taking English courses, unless otherwise regulated by their respective departments.

Physical Education
（The Athletic Department）

• Students must complete four non-credit requirements.
• Freshmen must complete 1-credit Health Related Physical Fitness in their first semester. Starting from their second semester, they are free to choose from Specialized Sport courses.

Freshman Forum

• Conducted in large classes; open to all undergraduate students.

Freshman Seminar

• Open exclusively to first-year students of the university.
• Freshmen may only take one Freshman Seminar per semester.
• In the second semester, priority enrollment is granted to freshmen who have not yet taken a Freshman Seminar.
