    大腦是產生自我意識的器官，不能離開身體獨立運作。它接收來自身體所有感官的訊息，並且使我們能察覺到：是“我”在經驗這一切。在本研究室，我們設計實驗來操控視覺與身體感覺之間的關係，進而研究身體與自我意識的關聯。
