Weeks 1 and 2: February 20-March 6:
(There will be no class on Monday, February 27)

1. Enrollment and other class business.
    Because we have already covered a lot of material last semester that we need
    to draw on this semester,
    every new student will be assigned a partner from last semester's class to help you
    with this background material.
2. Join a. the ELP: English Listening and Pronunciation, 2016-17 page on Facebook;
            b. Karen on Ivy League Analytical English group on Facebook; and
            c. ELP 2016-17 on Google Drive; use your gmail address.
3. New students: Send a quote to Prof. Chung according to this model, along with your gmail address;

     due by Monday, March 6.

     These articles explain in Chinese how the "Echo Method" of language learning works.
     This semester we will read the remaining English Island articles;
     like last semester, include notes on each assigned article in your weekly notes.
