Short Biography Jia-Han Li was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. He received his BS degree in physics and MS degree in electrical engineering from the National Taiwan University in 1995 and 1997, respectively, and his PhD degree in electrical and computer engineering from the Purdue University in 2005. He joined the faculty of the Department of Engineering Science and Ocean Engineering of National Taiwan University in 2006. His current research interests have theoretical, numerical, and experimental aspects, including the nanophotonics, nanoelectronics, energy, optical imaging, optical inspection, single event effects, sensors, bio-optics, bio-sensing, emerging material analysis, and scientific computation.
