Vector transmission of plant pathogens
My research interests are directed toward understanding the factors that influence vector-virus interactions and vector transmission. My current researches focus on insect-borne plant viruses. I employ a variety of techniques including molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, and ecology to investigate this multidisciplinary subject. I hope the results can be applied to the control of economically important plant viral diseases. Teaching
