Our Personalized Human-Robot Interaction System for Elderly People, developed by Prof. Yueh and the lab members—including core members Chia-Hsun Lo from Mechanical Engineering, Shih-Han Wang from Social Work, and Hong-Jun Chang from Psychology—has been invited by the Global Industry Platform of NTU System (T5GIP) to exhibit at COMPUTEX 2025, which will take place from May 20th to May 23rd. 

To address the increasing trend of loneliness among the elderly, our system integrates large-scale multimodal models with psychological theories and incorporates research on technology usage by older adults. We have developed a fully automated companion robot with various personalities tailored specifically for elderly users.

由岳老師帶領研究室成員（核心成員包括社工所王詩涵、機械所羅佳勳、心理所張閎鈞）所研發之高齡者個性化陪伴人機互動系統，於5月20日至5月23日止於2025台北國際電腦展(COMPUTEX 2025) 臺灣大學系統科研產業化平台(T5GIP) 攤位展出。

研發該社會機器人的背景主要是因應高齡化社會、高齡者孤獨感加劇的社會現象，嘗試整合大規模多模態模型與心理學理論，並融入研究室長期累積的高齡科技研究成果，開發一套完全自動化、具有多種個性並專為高齡用戶量身訂做的陪伴機器人。
