透過觀察與研究，逐步揭開微觀世界的多樣奧祕，

Microcosm Unveiled: The World Under the Microscope
Traces of microorganisms can be found in every corner of the world,
from leaves to the rhizosphere, from air to soil.
In forms both minute yet intricate,
they sustain ecological cycles and the balance of life.
The Department of Plant Pathology and Microbiology at
National Taiwan University
is dedicated to exploring these life forms invisible to the naked eye.
Through observation and research,
we gradually unveil the diverse mysteries of the microscopic world,
discover its hidden potential for application,
and embrace the mission of safeguarding nature and sustainability.

surrounds the departmental emblem at the center,
symbolizing the enduring depth of knowledge in plant pathology and microbiology,
as well as our founding commitment to protecting plant health and the ecology of the land.
