Pedro Núñez
From September 2023 until July 2026 I was a postdoc of Jungkai Alfred Chen at National Taiwan University, and a member of the Laboratory of Birational Geometry. Before that, I was a PhD student of Stefan Kebekus at the University of Freiburg. From Taiwan I moved back to Spain as a Profesor Ayudante Doctor at the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
My research interests are birational geometry and derived categories of algebraic varieties. You can find my papers on arXiv.
In January 2026, Flora Poon and I organized the conference Tour de Formosa, traveling along Taiwan's east coast while discussing algebraic geometry.
During the academic year 2024/2025 I taught Calculus 1, 2, 3 and 4 for first-year Economics students at National Taiwan University.
