[Overseas Education] Osaka University Student Exchange Program, Fall Semester, 2024

Osaka University is a national research comprehensive university headquartered in Osaka, Japan. The predecessor of Osaka University was Osaka Imperial University (1931). Science originated from 適塾(てきじゅく) (1838), liberal arts originated from 懐徳堂 (かいとくどう)(1724), the largest sinology school in Western Japan. Osaka University's academic ranking ranks 4th in Japan and 96th in the world. It has the largest number of university students in Japan.

In 2007, it has 11 departments (colleges), and the number of undergraduate students in each major exceeded that of the University of Tokyo, making it become the largest national university legal person in Japan.

 

II, Exchange Program

  • Program Type: FrontierLab mini(Undergraduate student only;maximum three months)、Special Research Student(Graduate student only;Maximum one year)
  • Quota: 2  
  • Eligibility: Students in College of Life Science with Proof of Language Skill & in 2nd year of undergraduate studies or above
  • Application Document: Please refer to the attachments below.
  • Language Requirement: JLPT N2/ TOEFL iBT 80/ IELTS 6.0 or higher
  • Fee: Nominated students will only be required to afford NTU tuition as well as the personal costs during their stay in Japan. They do not need to pay the tuition fee of Osaka University. Additionally, the airfare (Maximum NTD 7,000) may be subsidized by COLS depending on the annual budget.
  • This program is for research study, the issuance of acceptance by prospective supervising professor of Osaka University is required when submitting documents to College of Life Science.

 

III, Submission Deadline

  • Please submit your application documents to the College of Life Science (room 1216 ) by 15th April, 2024 5pm.
