【Grant Application Open】Higher Education Deep Cultivation Program - Distant Learning Program (Limited to Ph.D. students)

In order to cultivate doctoral students of NTU and encourage them to conduct research abroad, enhancing their research potential, understanding international research trends, expanding their international research experience and perspectives, and promoting collaboration between NTU and international research institutions, our university plans to promote the Higher Education Deep Cultivation Program - Distant Learning Program grant.

Summary of Eligibility (must meet both criteria below):
(1) Current doctoral students of our university who have passed the doctoral candidacy qualification examination.
(2) Have submitted the most recent application for the National Science Council (NSC) grant for doctoral students to conduct overseas research, recommended by the advisor, department (section, department, program), and college, but did not receive the grant.

Application Documents:
(1) Student application form.
(2) The most recent application materials submitted according to the "Operational Guidelines for NSTC Grants for Doctoral Students to Conduct Overseas Research."
(3) Letter from the advisor recommending student to participate in this program, including a specific explanation and an invitation letter from the overseas research institution's advisor.
1. Both letters must clearly state the research topic or project name. If the research topic or project name is inconsistent with the student's application information, it will be considered as ineligible.
2. Both letters must be signed.
(4) Proof of passing the doctoral candidacy qualification examination.

Grant Amount:
Each participants will receive a grant ranging from NTD $525,000 to NTD $900,000 (tax-free). The actual amount will be determined based on the evaluation results.
