RESEARCH
Two lines of inquiry are
ongoing. One is policy-oriented, including the ethical preparedness of health
authorities in ordinary times and public health emergencies, and the ethics of population
policy and related issues such as population aging, the issue of “extreme low
fertility,” and intergenerational justice. The other is more
theoretical-oriented, aiming to develop a cosmopolitan theory of global health
ethics based on parochial sentiments.
