《中外文學》十一月號推出張淑英主編之「《吉訶德》專輯」，從不同角度題材解析《吉訶德》的原貌與四百年來吉訶德多樣的臉：羅基敏探討文學與樂曲的互文性，解析理查•史特勞斯的交響詩《吉訶德》；韋伯（Eckhard Weber）將歐洲各國以《吉訶德》為本改編的一系列歌劇做有系統的引介評論；許玉燕從《吉訶德》青少年童書改寫版、翻譯版討論文本濃縮衍生的問題；陳南妤從《吉訶德》的詩歌與功能切入，從文學角度賞析並親自迻譯《吉訶德》中幾首詩歌；陳小雀從歷史介面解讀《吉訶德》理想與瘋狂的二元性，援引《薛西弗斯的神話》的荒謬對照陳述；張淑英則審視西班牙導演古迪葉雷茲•阿拉貢（Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón）如何詮釋《吉訶德》和西班牙。在「文學／文化論評」中，張旭探討近代英詩漢譯中的意識形態問題；周淑娟以庫柏（James Fenimore Cooper）的「皮襪」故事系列出發，討論美國國家主體建構初期的困境。
