I received my PhD degree from the College of Optical Sciences at the University of Arizona (UA) in August 2008. I have received Optical Sciences’ 2008 Outstanding Graduate Student Award, and UA GPSC’s 2008 Achievement Award for Outstanding Research Assistant. I have also been chosen as a valedictorian representing the May/August 2008 MS and PhD graduates of the College of Optical Sciences.
