Kuo-Chu Chang was born in Taiwan in 1952. In 1991, he received his PhD degree from the Section of Biomedical Engineering, Institute of Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan University. He is now Professor in Physiology at the College of Medicine, National Taiwan University. His main research interests include the modeling of the systemic arterial tree and the systolic mechanical properties of the ventricular pump.
