In silico prediction for regulation of transcription factors on their shared target genes indicates relevant clinical implications in a breast cancer population
- R Programs:
- Download the R code ¡§assoc_tests.r¡¨ and the data file ¡§MultCIDExample.txt¡¨ before
running the program. To run analyses, copy all commands in ¡§assoc_tests.r¡¨ and
paste them on R console. When a browser window pops out, please select the
downloaded data file ¡§MultCIDExample.txt¡¨ in your local directory. R is a freely
available language and environment for statistical computing and graphics. It can be
downloaded from http://www.r-project.org/
- This R program provides examples of computing CID-TFUGPCC and CID-TF1nTF2 for
two target genes, CCNB2 and VEGFA, based on the methods discussed in the
manuscript. The first tabulated output contains 11 statistics and their p-values
in parentheses for CCNB2(7326), VEGFA(1135), and VEGFA(15367). The p-values for
CID may be slightly altered if re-run the program due to its nature of randomness.
The second tabulated output gives the significance (S) or non-significance (NS) for
CID-TFUGPCC and CID-TF1nTF2.
