![]() ![]() Dendrobium
Ronaele A single flower of this hybrid may not look attractive. However, when in full bloom, this plant with hundreds pink musky blossoms hanging in a green house in early April is certainly a charm to everybody. In spring 1998, I got a keiki (a plantlet developing adventitiously on a cane-like stem) from John who took care of the orchids in Cornell Plantation. It grew very well and relatively fast in my place. Its smooth and shining foliage during the growing season is impressive too. According to John's suggestion, water should be hold from mid winter until early spring to stimulate flower development. |
