Cochleanthes
discolor, one of my orchid collection, natives in Central America
from Costa Rica to Venezuela. Orchid is my longtime favorite. Many people
think orchids are so delicate that they are difficult to grow. However,
I believe you can always find a place in your home where some species
would grow happily.

Tufted
titmouse, a frequent visitor to my window feeder 3 feet from where I am
sitting. In many winter mornings, I was awaken by some woodpeckers and
nuthatches knocking the suet hanging outside the window. I am not really
a bird-watching enthusiast. However, I always fill the feeders in my backyard
whenever they are empty.
