  《中外文學》九月號推出李紀舍主編之「台灣多重現代性」：李育霖以王禛和的小說《玫瑰玫瑰我愛你》為例，探討翻譯在台灣本土文學生產中所扮演的角色；劉建基以黃錦樹的《由島至島——刻背》為例，分析跨國文化流動中，移民社會的邊緣性如何抗拒主流霸權；邱彥彬則探究朱天心〈古都〉中的空間、身體與政治經濟學。另外，專輯特別收錄張誦聖的演講內容，探討全球化情境下，東亞的多重現代性。本期亦收錄兩篇研究報告：張淑英彙整、分析西班牙學術期刊《拉美筆記》近五年（2001-2005年）的學術論文與專輯，探討該期刊的研究趨勢，藉以勾勒國外西語學術研究的走向；黃錦容則以日本代表性學術期刊《日本近代文學》2001年5月至2006年5月的論文為樣本，探查日本文學的研究現況及趨勢。
