The
Department is housed in a three-story
Forestry Hall, a two-story high Remote Sensing Hall and a four-story Forest
Products Hall and operate a greenhouse.

The
Department has laboratories for conducting research in a wide range
of forest science disciplines including wood physics, wood processing, wood
chemistry, wood construction, pulp and paper, erosion control engineering, tree
cultivation, quality control, silviculture, forest tree breeding, tree
physiology, forest soil science, forestry techniques, forest meteorology, forest
management, marketing of forest products, forest economics, remote sensing,
