Venue and Accommodation
DAA VII will be held in Taipei, TaiwanĄŠs largest city, at the Howard International House Taipei (HIHT) near National Taiwan University (NTU). HIHTĄŠs international conference room and meeting facilities are designed to accommodate 462 guests. There are also various hotel selections from budget hotel to luxury hotels in the immediate area where participants can choose to stay, special NTU discounted rates are often offered.

Centrally located in the heart of Taipei's business and financial district, Howard international house Taipei provides an ideal balance of pleasant environment and modern convenience. And DAA VII conference is held right next to the hotel. It only takes less than a minute to walk from the hotel to the venue. The venue building is five-floored. Our conference is held on the second and third floors, where the poster demonstration is at alley of third and forth floor.
A theater-style conference facility with two decks and a maximum capacity of 728 guests, seating 462 guests on the lower level and 266 guests on the upper deck. Equipped with professional stage lightings and advanced sound systems, the 2F convention hall is a multi-purpose meeting space ideal for conference.

Reservation and Confirmation

We will pass on your reservation to the hotel you choose, and they will contact you directly for further arrangement, including payment details.

To secure your hotel reservation, after you completed your accommodation reservations, we will charge for the first night's accommodation fee and the rest will have to be paid upon check out. For cancelling reservation, a written notification of cancellation must be sent to DAA VII conference secretariat by email (daaseven@gmail.com) or by fax (+886-2-2363-8179). 5% of administrative charge will be subtracted from total refund. Notification received after 24:00 Taipei standard time on 25th May, 2008, the refund will NOT be issued.

Reservations and room allocation will be done on a first come, first serve basis; therefore an early reservation is strongly recommended.

If you are a Taiwan public servant, you will be entitled to the public servant rate with the presence of your certificate. (For HOWARD INTERNATIONAL HOUSE TAIPEI only.)

The registration fee is based on the New Taiwan Dollar (NTD). The exchange rate is approximately 32 NTD to 1 USD.
