		The DAAVII student awards for posters and oral presentations will be held at the 7^th Symposium of Diseases of Asian Aquaculture. The winners will be presented award certificates and cash prizes of 300 to 500 USD. The awards will be allocated by the Student Award Committee, and winners’ names will be announced in the closing banquet on Thursday, June 26^th . 		A 2-day post-DAA VII seminar on Crustacean diseases and Immunity
		The registration of 2-day post-DAA VII seminar held from June 27th to 28th terminates now at 5 p.m. on June 5th, 2008 of Taipei time (GMT+8:00). Deadline for registration of 2 Day Post DAA VII seminar on Crustacean Diseases and Immunity: June 4 There will be limit of vacancy left for those who are interested in this program. Only two days left for you to get registered. You can not miss it.
		Please note that the on-site inscribing for DAA VII half day tour is prohibited. You may inscribe for this tour through the registration mechanism. To make sure that this tour can be arranged comfortably, if you have not already registered at this time, then we are asking you to please make sure that your registration is completed by May 30, 2008. In case you miss/skip the inscribing step while you made your registration, please contact us immediately to have the rescue protocol. And, of course, all rescue action should be taken by May 30, 2008.
		Please note that the deadline for hotel reservation is approaching. The contract between DAAVII and the hotels is almost up. It is 2008-05-06 (LEADER HOTEL TAIPEI) and 2008-05-09 (HOWARD INTERNATIONAL HOUSE TAIPEI). If you haven’t made the reservation, please do so as soon as possible. If you still have not already reserved a room by the deadline, you will not have the discount price and might not have a room. Please pay attention to the deadline and reserve the room as soon as possible.

Dear colleagues:

On behalf of the Fish Health Section (FHS) of the Asian Fisheries Society (AFS), we cordially invite you to the Seventh Symposium on Diseases in Asian Aquaculture (DAA VII) to be held in Taipei, Taiwan from June 22nd to 26th, 2008.

The DAA Symposia are a series of triennial meetings of the world’s leading scientists and students working in aquatic animal health, where all participants share their latest research findings, exchange ideas and establish new collaborations. More detailed information will be updated in the DAA VII website: http://homepage.ntu.edu.tw/~daaseven/. Meanwhile, some of the conference’s other highlights are described below.
