Guidelines for abstract preparation
Note:
1. 3 September 2007: Start date for Submission of Abstracts
2. 15 December 2007: Submission of Abstracts Deadline.
3. Submission by fax will NOT be accepted.
4. If your abstract is accepted, you will be notified by Jan 25, 2008.
Format:
Abstract: |
Brief Overview including conclusions. |
Type of Presentation: |
Before the title please indicate your preference as an ORAL or POSTER presentation. Arial Narrow 10.5 point and in bold. |
Title Font: |
Arial 14 point, capitals only, in bold and single spacing. |
Authors: |
Names of all authors should be included. Presenting author's name should be indicated with an * after the name. Provide only the presenting author's address and e-mail. Authors must use Arial 11 point italic font, with exact size 11 pt line spacing. |
Paper Length: |
Maximum number of words should not exceed 250. Text should be both left and right margin justified. |
Paper Size: |
A4 (210mm wide x 297mm high) |
Paper Margin: |
Top- 2.54cm; Bottom- 2.54cm; Left-3.17cm; Right-3.17cm |
Text Font: |
Exact 10.5 pt line spacing for all text parts of the paper, paragraphs should be separated by a blank line and should not be indented. Arial 10.5 point, Symbol font for Greek and Scientific symbols. |
Note: |
The title, author(s) and address should be both left and right margin justified. |

Online submission of abstracts is highly preferred. If you are unable to submit online, then please contact the Conference Secretary by email or fax.

Online abstract submission will be available through December 15, 2007.

You will be asked to submit your abstract as a .doc file and also as a .pdf file. Before you proceed, please make sure that you have both these files available and ready to upload.

*DAA VII Abstract Submission Deadline Extended to Dec 15, 2007*
Our online abstract submission system was temporarily unavailable over the weekend of Dec 8-9. The problem has now been fixed, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
To compensate for this outage, we are extending the abstract submission deadline to 5 pm (17:00 Taipei Standard Time) on Dec 15, 2007. Prior to this deadline, you will also still be able to modify any abstract that you have submitted previously.
