摘要 |
The specific aims of this
article are threefold: (1) To conduct quantitative analysis of facial
asymmetry that is in agreement with the clinical experience; (2) To justify
the “perception buffer zones” from symmetry to serious asymmetry – an overall
asymmetry index, or oAI, adapted
from AI, is developed to articulate
the perception; (3) To construct a facial symmetry classifier that would
categorize the perception of facial symmetry into Perceived Normal (PN), Perceived Asymmetrically Normal (PAN), and Perceived Abnormal (PA), along with a confidence index (Ci) of the classification result. The
