Hukou is key in generating trade
pattern & trade boom Trade pattern: exporting manufacturing low-end manufacturing: textiles, wood
products, low-tech. electronics----made by low-skilled workers Trade boom: drastic increase in trade
volume. Conclusion: A simple model describing the Chinese dual
