Another view to Europe

	The members of the organizing committee, Mr. Wang Guoqiang and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Merkelbach proudly present the 3rd Second Foreign Language Symposium on Europe.
	DFFL Chairperson Prof. Chiou in the center surrounded by Spanish Prof. Borao, Prof. Chou (Head of the Center of International Affairs, NTU), Ms. Inger Ridderstolpe from the Swedish Trade office and members of the organizing committee.
	General view of the opening ceremony from above. More than 120 interested students attended this conference.
	The opening address by Ms. Inger Ridderstolpe, Representative of the Swedish Trade Office. Ms. Ridderstolpe gave her address in Chinese to promote mutual understanding between the people of Taiwan and Europe.
	The inaugural speech by Spanish Prof. Borao, Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, NTU. Prof. Borao also spoke in Chinese.
	A student giving a presentation about Europeans and their cultural background in South America.
	The audience listened very concentrated. On the right hand side we see Mr. Sven Meier from the German Institute Taipei.
	Finally over! A picture of all speakers and helping hands. Afterwards we went out for a good dinner and enjoyed our successful conference.
