Inter-College Course Selection Implementation Principles

Passed at the second meeting of the Department Affairs Committee during the second semester in academic year 2003

 

 

Article 1

These measures are based on the National Taiwan University Department of Anthropology Inter-College Course Selection Implementation Principles.

Article 2

This department implements inter-college course selection as the cope of which is determined by curriculum adopted by universities and independent colleges and based on the principle of cooperation and mutual benefit in exchanging course selections.

Article 3

In principle, inter-college course selection involves courses not offered by the Department of Anthropology in a given semester. The department establishes a maximum number of students permitted to take such classes and offers first choices to students from this department.

Article 4

Students wanting to taking classes at other schools need to first obtain the approval of department/institute heads and related teachers from both organizations as well as their own tutor or academic councilor (指導教授或學業導師) to be eligible for this program.

Article 5

Master’s Degree students in the Department of Anthropology are in principle restricted too two classes per semester at other schools. In addition the study credits taken cannot exceed one third of the minimum graduation requirement in the original department.

Article 6

Inter-college lessons, examinations and results will be processed in accordance with the regulations and relevant laws at the school providing the course.

Article 7

Students taking inter-college courses are required to submit a student results form to their original department at the end of each semester.

Article 8

Reviews of inter-college selected course results should be dealt with in accordance with relevant regulations at the school offering the course.

Article 9

Students selecting inter-college courses are required to observe all rules and regulations at the school offering the course.

Article 10

Inter-college course selection is implemented on the basis of the “ NTU Department of Anthropology Inter-College Course Selection Cooperative Agreement (國立臺灣大學人類學系校際選課合作協議書), discussions with cooperative partners and a signed contract.

Article 11

These principles were passed by the Department Affairs Committee and then implemented as will any future revisions.
