Qualifications

One of the top 12 examinees in the written exam (not including English (A) or Chinese).

Percentage of total result

30% of exam result

Regulations on the scoring of examined subjects

Examinees who receive less than 60% on the oral exam will not be considered for admission.

Weighted score subject and percentages (加權計分科目及百分比)

Prehistoric archaeology, social and cultural anthropology both have a 20% weighting.

Additional regulations

1. After admission, examinees who did not graduate from the Department of Anthropology will be required to take basic undergraduate courses in the department depending on their exam results and at the request of a tutor. These study credits will no go to the study credits required for Master’s Degree students to graduate.

2. Oral exam time, location: Starts 1:10PM, 5 (Fri), May, in classroom 206 Department of Anthropology

3. Examinees are expected to provide 12 copies of an outline research proposal of not more than 2,500 words during the oral exam.
